関西外国語大学スペイン語学科卒業
2009年から2012年までサンパウロの写真事務所CIA DE FOTOで研鑽を重ね、同時にFAAP大学の大学院で2013年まで写真学を学ぶ。
2013年には東京駐日ブラジル大使館にて個展。
2020年11月 京都国際写真祭KYOTOGRAPHIE Permanent space DELTAにて個展「Afro-Brazil」。
2021年7月 徳島市にて同個展を開催。
関西外国語大学在学中からアフロブラジリアン文化の代表的なダンスでありスポーツでもある、カポエィラアンゴーラに魅せられ、幾度と渡伯を重ねることでブラジル文化への造詣を深める。

KOSUKE ARAKAWA

Kosuke has international experience shooting documentaries, landscapes, interior, portraits, commercial, fashion photography and video. Also shooting drone footages.
Born in Kyoto in 1981.
Graduated from the University of Kansai Gaidai, as a Spanish Language Major, and then went to live in Brazil from 2009. Worked at the CIA DE FOTO photography studio in Sao Paulo, from 2009 to 2012.
After studying photography at the University of FAAP, he held his first solo exhibition ‘Santarém’ at the embassy of Brazil in Tokyo in 2013.
In November 2020, solo exhibition "Afro-Brazil" at Kyotographie permanent space DELTA in Kyoto. Exhibiting the same exhibition in July 2021 in Tokushima city.
